Downtown girl

Week two back to work was a little bit harder for me than week one.  Not sure why.  Could be because little Claire is getting cuter and cuter every day.  She's really talking up a storm now and coming so close to giggling.  We can't wait for that.  We try to make it happen constantly :)

Here's the little lovebug on Thursday night.
It was Daddy's turn to give his baby girl a bath...and she was ready.
Daddy was too.  He scrubbed the little nugget squeaky clean.
I've never met a little girl that loves bath time so much.  She can literally be screaming crying for hours but as soon as we walk into that bathroom and turn that water on....she completely relaxes.  She just loves it.
And we love our little ducky.
Once bath time was done, sleeping beauty went to bed to rest up for the weekend.  We couldn't wait for it to finally come.

We took a nice long walk on Saturday.  Guess who fell asleep as soon as we got out the door.
First stop, Spread, a delicious new bagelry.  They actually boil the bagels and then grill them.  Sounds kind of weird but it's super yummy.  They even have a guy out front playing live music for everyone. Love it.
While waiting out front for daddy to get breakfast, the little lady decided to wake up and hang out with us for a bit.
We headed over to Rittenhouse to enjoy our delicious bagels and the gorgeous weather.  It was so nice out, we just had to snap some pics...ok...a lot of pics.  LOVE these of Claire and Daddy...my two favorite people :)
 Mommy's turn.
 Love her :)
After hanging at the park, we walked down to old city to get Mommy's rings cleaned (long time overdue).  We had some time to kill while the jeweler was working on them so we walked a block over to where Mommy and Daddy got married.
The sun was shining bright.
They finally finished the re-creation of the first president's house....it was a construction zone the night we got married.  It was pretty cool to walk through.  I recommend checking it out.
After sightseeing with the rest of the tourists we finally headed home.  Had to catch that Penn State game.  Claire didn't want to miss a minute.
After the game, we were so zonked from our busy day.  Had to take a nap.
A perfect way to end a perfect weekend with our favorite little lady.
