Phillies, family, and friends

Last Thursday, we got to take Claire to her first Phillies game of the season.  We got down to the stadium a little early so enjoyed the nice weather and hung out at McFadden's for a little bit.
Claire listened to some live music with Daddy for a little.
Then snapped a quick pic with Mommy before heading to our seats.
It was a perfect night for baseball.
Claire had a blast.  (Thank you so much to Nana for the adorable hat...she got lots of compliments :)).
So much fun she fell asleep and let mommy and daddy stay for the whole game.  Good thing cause it was a good one...the Phils won 3-1 :)
On Saturday, we had some friends come stay with us for the weekend: Emma, Addi, and their parents Jeff and Jenna.  We headed over to the park for a little fun.
Daddy and Claire pushed Emma on the swings while Mommy snapped a pic with her new office in the background :)
Mommy took Claire down the slide for her first ride.
Then Aunt Jenna...
Then Daddy....with the safety net of this little guy catching them at the bottom...too cute :)
Once she had a few turns with some of her pals, Claire took a slide on her own...she closed her eyes the entire way :)
But based on the huge grin at the bottom...I think she enjoyed the ride.
Once she mastered the slide, she took a ride on her favorite...
The swings!
Sunday morning we were up and at 'em early for Claire's first ever  Dash for Organ Donor Awareness. After 9 years, Team 123 FINALLY got some team t-shirts.  Claire wore hers proudly :)
As did Addi and Emma...
And the rest of the gang.
Another amazing turnout for the Dash.  Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who joined us and contributed!  Claire would've never had the chance to meet her Pop without organ donors so it's obviously a cause that is near and dear to our hearts :)  We can't thank you guys enough!

Happy Easter!

We started Easter weekend early by heading down the shore on Thursday and boy am I glad we did.  It was the sunniest 3 days I can remember in a long time.  No better place to be than OC, NJ :)

We took it easy the first day down there.  Claire hung out with her Wubbanub (a little puppy doll attached to a pacifier)...she just loves it.
And got to spend some more time with Winnie Poo.  She's really funny with Winnie.  She can't take her eyes off of her whenever she's around.  And when Winnie's not looking she'll reach for her and wants nothing more than to pet her but the second Winnie turns towards Claire, she freaks out.  I think the expression on her face in this pic is a pretty good representation of her mixed feelings...
Easter celebrations started on Saturday with an Easter Egg hunt.
Claire's big cousins had a blast!
While Claire called dibs on the biggest basket of all :)
After the hunt, Grace and Maddie helped Claire open her Easter present.
Her first babydoll!  Again, she might have mixed feelings :)
Haha just kidding, she loved it.  After playing with her new doll for a little, we headed up to the beach for some kite flying.
Grace was a pro...
As was Maddie.
Claire caught some air of her own...having some fun with Daddy.
And then told Nana ALL about it.
She hung in the sand with Grace.
And then took it easy with Nana and Luke before heading back to the house.
Where we sang Happy Birthday to the newest 2 year old.
Who Claire loves to hang with :)
Nothing better than spending a few days with the cousins.
And Mommy & Daddy of course.
On Sunday, we headed back to Philly bright and early and got into our fancy Easter clothes.
Mommy's side of the family came over for a delicious brunch.  Claire got to hang with lots of fam including Aunt Lisa and Brian.
Aunt Laura and Lilly.
And Grammy (peace Lill').
Claire and her BFF/little cousin Lilly have a blast together.  They laugh...
Suck on their fingers...
And even nap at the same time.  Funny girls.

It was a wonderful Easter weekend with our silly little girl!

Mommy's Home!

I was a slacker last weekend and neglected to take any pics but we have a big weekend coming up with Easter so I promise to have more next week.

In the meantime, thought I'd share the ridiculously cute little face I get to come home to every night :)
