Due date come and gone

Looks like my mom was right, I will be having an August baby.  I could've sworn we'd be welcoming Baby G into the world last night - especially after Patrick woke me up at midnight to tell me he had dropped his cell phone in the toilet and couldn't get it to work.  I was certain that would be the perfect time for the contractions to start and us be on our way to the hospital.  He would've been flipping out.  Luckily, the phone dried out overnight and has been working ok since so he should be able to send text messages letting everyone know when it finally is go time.

In the meantime, we're trying to keep busy to keep our minds off of the long awaited arrival of Baby G.  We have lots of long walks, dinners out, and nights of scrabble planned for this week.

As always, we'll make sure to keep you posted of any progress.  And if anyone has any tips on how to help baby G find his/her way out a little faster, they'd be greatly appreciated :)

Here's a pic of me and Baby G from yesterday - the actual due date.  It's pretty clear Baby G is still content right where he/she is...doesn't look like any moves have been made to come on down yet.  Fingers crossed that changes sometime this week!
